๐ฆ Flittermouse the Vampire Bat ๐ฆ
Halloween is one of my favourite times of year! Getting dressed up as a kid in a black bin bag, with fake fingers you couldn’t pick anything up with and fake teeth that hurt your gums more than the candy! Every year was so exciting! The anticipation of bringing home a carrier bag full of treats, seeing everyone in the neighbourhood out with their families, laughing, cackling & enjoying the twilight! Halloween in New Zealand is definitely nothing like my childhood was & even less so now with the pandemic making sure we can’t socialise. So along with my free eyeball pattern I put together another treat for you guys! Here is my Flittermouse the Vampire Bat pattern, hope you enjoy!
Skill Level : Easy
Materials
1 ball of Dark Grey 8 ply yarn
Small amount of Light Grey 8 ply Yarn
Small amount of Black 8 ply Yarn
Small amount of Blush 8 ply Yarn
Small amount of white yarn
3.0mm Hook
1.5mm Hook
Embroidery needle
Stuffing
Any size yarn and corresponding hook will work, I used a 8 ply cotton yarn and a 3.0mm hook. It is recommended to size down in hooks for a tighter stitch for amigurumi. Colours can be suited to your own preference. I prefer to work with Cotton or Bamboo Cotton. The thicker the yarn, the bigger your flittermouse!
