I love these Crochet Face Scrubbies ! They are awesome for washing your face or taking make up off. They are made from 100% cotton yarn, which means they are really versatile & can be thrown in the washing machine with everything else! This pattern has lots of texture, perfect for getting all the stubborn nooks & crannies. They are perfect to give as gifts, for birthdays, Christmas, mothers day, teachers gifts, thank you, or just a pamper gift. They are also super quick to crochet up!

 

Materials

4.5mm Hook

Any Cotton yarn ( I used 4 Seasons Flinders Cotton Yarn 8ply) in required colours

Embroidery Needle

Scissors

 

Stitches

(UK Terms)

CH - Chain

YOH - Yarn Over Hook

SC - Single Crochet

INC - 2 Single Crochet in each stitch

DC - Double Crochet

Puff Stitch - YOH, insert your yarn into the stitch, YOH & pull through stitch up to the height of a DC, Yoh, insert & pull through 3 more times, pull through all 9 loops on hook

BLO - Back Loops Only

SL ST - Slip Stitch

FO - Fasten Off

 

Pattern

 

Row 1: CH3, SL ST in 1st CH, 8SC in middle of ring, SL ST in 1st SC (8)

Row 2: CH1, INC x 8, SL ST in 1st SC(16)

Row 3: Puff Stitch, CH1 to hold in each stitch around, SL ST in 1^st Puff Stitch(16 puff, 16 ch)

Row 4: CH2, 2DC in same stitch, 2DC in each CH Space, SL ST in 1st DC to join (32)

Row 5: BLO (SC, INC) X 32 (48), SL ST in 1st SC, FO.

Weave in ends
